Bordeaux The Bridge June 2014 007
It took me about twenty minutes to walk up to the centre of the bridge. Then a French lady cycles up, opens her bag, and starts knitting a pair of thick woollen socks! I did wonder why, in the middle of the bridge, in a temperature of 31C, unless she thinks it's going to be a long cold winter.
